Start Point in South Devon is one of the most rugged and exposed peninsulas on the English coast. At its tip, the guiding lights of the lighthouse have shone, for the benefit of seafarers, for 170 years. Today, as well as being a working lighthouse, it is also a popular visitor attraction.
