Comments on the eighth edition: The book will be of value to many as a first port of call in a constantly changing sea of regulations. --New Law Journal, 21 January 2005
As usual, the writing and arrangement of material is both clear and concise. As an introduction to the new Act it will prove invaluable, mainly because the text is, as with previous editions, broken down into short and manageable chunks of information which is much easier to digest that long, uninterrupted chapters or sections. It is clear that a great deal of thought has gone into this technique and it proves its value with the new Licensing Act. --Licensing Review, January 2005
