Synopsis
Few performers have encapsulated their chosen art as completely as Philip Lynott did. For most people he was "Thin Lizzy", the charismatic frontman and creative driving force behind one of rock's greatest bands. For others he was the romantic embodiment of the swashbuckling spirit and gypsy soul that fuels rock 'n' roll myths. His drugs-related death in 1986 proved once again that even the blessed can sail too close to the wind.
