Reg Revans in this new edition of his classic ABC of Action Learning distils the lessons of more than twenty-five years' experience applying the theory he originated - action learning - the most important idea to have emerged in management and organizational development since the war. Revans' lifelong mission has been to empower the individual manager to act and to learn from action. ABC of Action Learning sets out practical means of realising his vision. In today's rapidly changing environment where learning is needed to innovate constantly, Revans' ideas are more relevant than ever. ABC of Action Learning gives you:
* structures to implement action learning programmes based on an understanding of its operational forms
* insights gained from experiences of launching action learning world-wide and responses of top management to efforts to improve their own enterprises
* conditions for bringing about learning in the organization as a whole system.
(Forms part of The Mike Pedler Library, which currently features Dialogue at Work by Nancy M Dixon, A Concise Guide to the Learning Organization by Mike Pedler and Kath Aspinwall, Resolving Conflicts in Organizations by Rennie Fritchie and Malcolm Leary. New titles to follow soon.)
