From the Author

What is Life Processes and Living Things?
This book is one of three primary school science books in a series entitled `Project Science` which were written for the Key Stage 2 level. Each book was written with both the latest Q.C.A. science scheme of work and the National Curriculum (England) in mind.

The books contain between sixty and seventy quality photocopiable children`s activity sheets plus teachers` background notes, useful words, required resources, ideas for extensions, a glossary and anticipated results.

The `Project Science` series is aimed at helping to reduce teachers` preparation time by providing high quality, appropriate and interesting science activities. It will help the non-science specialists to gain knowledge, and confidence and will provide resources required to teach the science component of the National Curriculum (key stage 2).

We are all experienced, full-time classroom teachers.
