From the Author

This is a funny, honest memoir of living with lupus.
God Rides a Yamaha is a collection of award-winning essays about (among other things) what it's like to have lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease. But wait: it's funnier than it sounds! Read it and see for yourself. I call myself a 'relapsed Catholic' and talk about chronic illness from a spiritual, as well as physical and emotional, point of view. This is my second book; the first, a collection of poetry called Lobotomy Magnificat, was published by Oberon (Ottawa) last year, to very good reviews.
