9781893740020: Shadowcasting: An Introduction to the Art of Flyfishing

Synopsis

Filled with straightforward advice, humorous and touching anecdotes, and brilliant color photos, this book focuses on conveying to the beginning flyfisher the feeling of being on the river with a rod in hand, rather than getting mired in overly technical details. Flyfishing techniques and anecdotes are related in a laid-back and entertaining fashion by the expert who served as the flyfishing production coordinator on the set of A River Runs Through It. From teaching Brad Pitt the famous and tricky "shadow cast" to sharing fun moments with friends along the river, this book is an educational and amusing guide for the beginning flyfisher.
