About the Author

Tony Carter is best described as an "Entrepreneurial nanny," someone who likes to take a newborn company, teach it to walk and talk and then go back and do another one. He started his first software company in 1969,sold it and started the European arm of CACI in 1975.In 1981 he was the founder of James Martin Associates, a company he grew to $60M in eight years. Between 1989 and 1995 he undertook various venture capital and start-up related assignments before starting the International Business Group, Virginia 's first for profit Internet company incubator. The name of the company is now Edge Technologies which is involved in I.T., M&A, ventures and incubation.
