The most valuable advice I got from reading "1-2-3 Magic" that you can start implementing at home immediately is to avoid too much talking and too much emotion...the 1-2-3- program is as much a control on parental anger as it is on children's behavior.
The book has a lot of great, helpful information. Anyone who has children, no matter what age, can learn from this.
