Trade Paperback. Condition: Near Fine. 232 Pages in Six Editions. A tight bright book with covers showing very minimum use and interior text pages that are flawless. In 1980 a new magazine, Black Power Cartridge Rifles, commenced with the Sept./Oct. issue and was published until it was merged with The Buckskin Report, in October of 1983. It was packed with useful information on loading black powder cartridges and getting the best performance from these rifles used during the buffalo hunter's era. This magazine was nearly the sole source for such badly needed information. Those early issues of BPCR were eagerly sought for the information they contained. The publisher reproduced the first three years of BPCR verbatim as a 3-volume set. This book is a 1995 reprint of the Volume Two or Sept/Oct 1981 thru July/August 1982 issues. The Sept/Oct 1981 edition had only 32 pages while the remaining five editions had 40 pages. A quick glance through the articles contained in this reprint volume will be sufficient to convince it's value to the serious shooter who may have come into this sport too late to get the original Black Powder Cartridge Rifles magazines. Almost every page is illustrated with drawings or photographs. Seller Inventory # 15360
