Definitive Guide to Distributed App. Dev. with PowerBuilder
Distributed Application Development with PowerBuilder 6 is the firstand only book that is dedicated to distributed application development in the PowerBuilder environment. It focuses on getting the reader up to speed on Distributed PowerBuilder (DPB) and is packed with code samples to guide you every step of the way. Also included is a robust server framework I have used on real-world projects. I also cover the Web technologies and Jaguar. In addition to looking at the DPB/Sybase world, a detailed explanation of n-tier architectures, COM, CORBA, and Web technologies is included so that you can evaluate DPB against them.
As an author I welcome (constructive) criticism. I have done all I could to make Distributed App. Dev. with PB 6 an excellent book. It is the ONLY book dedicated completely to DPB. I invite reviewers and readers to continue to provide me with ideas on topics that are good or bad in the book. Condition: acceptable. The item is very worn but is perfectly usable.
