Performance Assessment -- Best Practices
THE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT HANDBOOK is a two-volume paperback series filled with examples and detailed commentary from middle and high school classrooms. With actual student handouts, evaluation sheets, and other forms used by successful teachers from across the country, this book concretely shows how performance assessment has improved teaching and learning at these sites.

Volume 1 is devoted to Student Portfolios and Socratic Seminars; Volume 2 focuses on Performances and Exhibitions. Each volume in the series stands alone, and may be ordered individually.
