Synopsis

The cornerstone of his techniques is the "Area Method", based on the directed area of triangles and their relationship to proportional sides. About the Author

Professor Zhang, an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences since 1995, is an enthusiastic contributor in the field of mathematics education. He has devoted much effort to reforming high school geometry education in China. His methods have been implemented in Chinese geometry textbooks for teachers' colleges. Professor Zhang is the author of many technical papers, especially in the area of automated theorem proving, and has won numerous awards for his math textbooks.
