Synopsis
There is no Easter Bunny! insists Father Rabbit. And rabbits do not lay eggs! Despite his protests, the Rabbit children are convinced that their father IS the Easter Bunny. "Humbug! and Foolishness!" are Father Rabbit's answer when his little bunnies keep insisting that he must be the Easter Bunny! Chaos ensues when Granny, who lives in a house above the Rabbit family's burrow, decorates eggs for her grandchildren's Easter egg hunt and they disappear.
Who would do such a dastardly thing? Where could they be? What will be next? It is a day full of colourful surprises for everyone especially Father Rabbit! when unexpected things start hatching.

This warm and delightful story is back in print after a long hiatus and its appeal is as refreshing as it was 30 years ago. The soft water colour illustrations of pastoral scenes are filled with charm and whimsy. Children will delight in following Granny's dilemma above ground while watching the drama unfold below ground.
