HAYS PUBLISHING'S UPDATED, ALGEBRAIC VERSION OF CHESS PRAXIS
This modern version of Nimzowitsch's 'Chess Praxis' is the companion version to 'My System - 21st Century Edition.' It is edited for the modern reader and has been converted to algebraic notation. The number of diagrams was doubled from the old 1936 edition. Nimzowitsch's entertaining wit shows through in this book, as in 'My System.' The solid foundation built in 'My System' is demonstrated in the games of 'Chess Praxis.' The strange word 'praxis' actually means 'practice,' and this is the 'practice' of Nimzowitsch's hypermodern 'system' as shown in his own games.
After I published the modern version of 'My System' in 1991, many purchasers of that book wrote and begged for an updated volume of 'Chess Praxis' to study. My good friend, Kenneth Artz, took on the job and re-edited the entire text.
