Review

"...These experiments do give that magical feel to science. They will make children's eyes open wider. They will bring that WOW to science..." -- Primary Maths & Science, October 2001

From the Author

As a trained scientist and someone who is passionate about education, I wrote this book because I wanted to share with children and adults alike what it feels like to be a scientist, while at the same time investigating some fun and novel 'magical science' experiments. Every experiment in the book has been extensively 'field tested' with children and their teachers in numerous schools throughout the SE England over a five-year period. All of the experiments have links with science taught in schools, to children from 3 years-old to 18 years-old plus. My hope is that parents and teachers will work through the experiments with their children, with everyone having fun!
