Synopsis
Joy rides at Penniwells Riding Centre and loves it. But she can't quite make Ravi out. She doesn't know he is autistic. She just sees that he's very shy, acts strangely and never smiles. The day he finally does, is Joy's best day ever at Penniwells. Set in a real riding centre that caters for children with a range of disabilities, this story provides encouragement and inclusion, and a lot of fun!

About the Author
After a long career as a secondary school teacher Gillian gave it up to become a children's writer. She has had 7 books published, two with Tamarind, and a further three expected in the next year. She lives in Leicester with her husband and assorted cats. She has a large extended family with twelve grandchildren who keep her in touch with her young readers! Kim Harley has illustrated thirteen books. She is a Lecturer on the Degree in Children's Illustrations Course at the North Wales Institute. She lives on the Wirral.
