About the Author

Nigel Gearing – Previous work includes Snap, Berlin Days Hollywood Nights, Dickens In America, Elgar's Tenth Muse, Janis In The Chelsea, Blue Heart Afternoon, English translations of Don Juan and La Dispute, French translations of Marlowes Edward II and Websters The Duchess Of Malfi, also collaborations on film scenarios including Ascendancy and Intimacy, both of which won Best Film at the Berlin Film Festival. His stage adaptation of Le Grand Meaulnes has been produced in the UK, the USA and at Jenins Freedom Theatre, Palestine. He has also written numerous plays and adaptations for BBC Radio.
