In spite of the fact that the book concentrates on educational issues, it is relevant to all areas where black and white encounter each other and have to work together. People's differing views on society, conceptions of time and ways of thinking influence all the aspects of their life. By way of clarifying the differences, the intention of the author is not to stereotype or drive black and white apart. On the contrary, his aim is to contribute towards a better understanding in building a new South Africa.
