About the Author
VICKI DE KLEER is a vet and an RYA Yachtmaster and has spent many years teaching young people to sail. She developed a sailing programme for the visually impaired which is now in its 25th year and has herself sailed the Atlantic a number of times. She lives in Ontario, Canada
