This biography recounts the work of Randi Hultin. At Randi's home, the stars chatted and unwound, doodled and composed - all captured by Randi on camera, in sketches and in the recordings which are available on the book's accompanying CD. Since 1953, Randi Hultin's Norway home has been visited by jazz giants including Count Basie, Dave Brubeck, Zoot Sims, Coleman Hawkins, Hampton Hawes, Eubie Blake, Louis Armstrong, John Coltrane, Charles Mingus, Bud Powell, Dexter Gordon, Bill Evans, Sonny Rollins, Stan Getz and Chet Baker, to name a few.
