Synopsis

As the 1998 season unfolds, all eyes will be on Benetton, curious to see how its new boss David Richards will run the team after the departure of the flamboyant Flavio Briatore, and perhaps even more significantly, whether Benetton's novice driver partnership of Giancarlo Fisichella and Alexander Wurz is more successful than the highly experienced former Ferrari pairing of Gerhard Berger and Jean Alesi. It also shows how the Italian-based, family-fashion empire uses Formula 1 as a marketing tool.
