Synopsis
In this book, the author examines the relationship between dogs and people and explains what dogs and their owners need to do to enjoy a harmonious relationship. Using case histories from his files, he describes the problems that can occur - ranging from commonplace to the incredible, from the moving to the hilarious - and outlines the reasons behind them. It could be an unhappy puppyhood, the resurgence of natural wolf-like instincts, insecurity at home, the aftermath of a medical condition or trauma, or any one of a number of causes. Some problems are confined to specific breeds, others could happen to any dog... including yours. The author examines the possibilities and suggests plans for treatment that should alleviate most types of problem dog behaviour.
