Synopsis
This evaluation looked at just one corner of one authority's services for people with learning difficulties. North West Thames Regional Health Authority funded "People First" to do this evaluation in order to ask people's views about what services they were getting, what they wanted and what was important to them. With regard to people with learning difficulties, it is now generally accepted that they should have a voice in how services are planned and delivered. This publication records an example of how a consultation exercise was carried on to active participation.
