Synopsis
Euromethod is an EC initiative to facilitate cross-border trading in the acquisition and development of information systems (IS) in the EU. The book is a primer for the Euromethod manuals themselves, available from the EC in Brussels. It covers: concepts of Euromethod; structure of Version 0 of the method; plans for UK trialling; likely impact of Euromethod on the UK (especially public sector procurement); and a consideration for the interface between Euromethod, Prince, SSADM and TAP. Euromethod is not so much a "super method" as a platform for common understanding of the domain and language of IS for practitioners and users of the main structured methods.
