Synopsis

Two electrically charged plays in one. Almost Nothing; Antonio and Sara discuss an incident: Antonio has shot a boy who approached their car with a knife. They interview a woman who claims to be the boy's mother. They meet Cesar, who subtly suggests they may want the mother out of the way...in a world where life means nothing, how far will they go to keep the demons at bay? At the Table; Six men's lives collide in a web of fear, duty and responsibility. Encounters twenty years apart show the reverberations from an undisclosed incident as Luis and Marcio try to come to terms with their past. Through the heavy atmospheres and through what is left unsaid, both of these plays hint at the murky morality that lies beneath the surface of normal life.
