Hannie Rayson's play Life After George was first staged in January 2000 by Melbourne Theatre Company at The Fairfax, Victorian Arts Centre, Melbourne. It had its British premiere in January 2002 at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford, before playing at the Duchess Theatre, London.

About the Author

Hannie Rayson is a graduate of Melbourne University and author of eight plays so far. Room to Move and Hotel Sorrento both won Australian Best Play awards. Hotel Sorrento has had over 50 productions at home and overseas and been made into a feature film.
