Synopsis
The first edition of this text was published in 1979 and was written for young people rather than about them. The text is used by those involved with children in an advisary capacity and used as a reference in schools and other institutions. This is the fourth edition and is revised and and rewritten to take into account the changes that have been made since the third edition. The text covers areas of law which will affect children and young people and their relations at home, with schools or other outside agencies and institutions, and includes the police and the courts.
