It offers a step-by-step method for developing skills in law-finding in the basic sources of English law (including also in some EC and international sources). It examines the tools available and explains how to use them, how to be up-to-date and how to detect pending developments. There are exercises throughout to test and improve skills, together with suggestions for directing one's research and for presenting and retaining its results.
