About the Author

Ursula O’Farrell lives in Dublin, and keeps in contact with her children and grandchildren both at home and abroad. She is tutor and supervisor with the Tivoli Institute in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, which offers professional courses in counselling practice, and she works also as a private counsellor and supervisor. She holds a primary degree in Economic Science, and also a Diploma in Psychology, from University College Dublin. Ursula is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Therapy (IACT), and has served both as Cathaoirleach and as Secretary of that organisation. She is currently a member of several IACT Committees, and is committed to setting and maintaining professional standards in counselling in Ireland.
