Synopsis

Carl Fogarty is the most popular British motorcycle racer since Barry Sheene and also the most successful. He won the World Superbike Championship on a Ducati in 1994, and retained the title in 1995 against works teams from Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki. These titles elevated him to world stardom but he had already won the World Endurance title plus three F1 open-roads titles, and still holds the absolute lap record for the Isle of Man TT. This book covers Fogarty's early days in schoolboy motocross, and the Marlboro Clubman's Championship. It features his endurance world title and Bol d'Or with Kawasaki, and chronicles the move to Ducati and his two superbike World Championships. An appendix lists his full career details.
