Synopsis
Dave Courtney has been a legend in criminal circles in South London since the days of the Krays. It was Dave Courtney to whom the family turned when Ronnie Kray's funeral was held, to organize the security and keep the peace between London's fighting firms that day. Now Courtney's life as a villain is over, this volume chronicles his shady and immoral past, his time in jail, the violent encounters that put him there, and why he has decided that it's time to get out of the business. Along the way there are machete-wielding Chinese waiters, unlicensed boxing promoters and debt collectors; Dave is bitten, beaten, stabbed and shot; and prison only makes him more determined to get better - better at not getting caught, that is.
