Using examples from his long experience in the police force – he was the Chief Constable of the Isle of Man Constabulary – he helps us to explore the 'why' and the 'how' of forgiveness - even in extreme circumstances.

Robin Oake was a policeman in Manchester whose son was murdered. He has written Father Forgive as an account of the trauma of this experience and how he was able to forgive the murders.
