Synopsis
Frontiers of Ottoman Studies provides a comprehensive overview of the surge in research into Ottoman history and culture over the past two decades. About the Authors
Colin Imber was Reader in Turkish at the University of Manchester, UK, until his retirement.
Rhoads Murphey is Reader in Ottoman Studies in the Department of History at the University of Birmingham, UK. He is the author of numerous books on Ottoman Empire and Warfare.
