Under each section are discussed questions of storage and display, handling and transportation, and advice is also given on how to recognize damage or deterioration that may need the attention of a professional conservator. "Sotheby's Caring for Antiques" is illustrated in full-colour to enable the reader to follow easily the practices discussed in the text and is supplementary by a useful glossary of materials and directory of conservation bodies.
