About the Author
Tony Smibert is a painter based in Tasmania who has held over forty exhibitions worldwide. His paintings are in many public and private collections. He is a co-author of How To Paint Like Turner and a Visiting Artist Researcher at Tate. Joyce H. Townsend is Senior Conservation Scientist at Tate and the author of Turner s Painting Techniques and a co-author of How to Paint Like Turner.
