John Bowman is both a broadcaster and historian whose career as a broadcaster began in the 1960s. A highly recognizable figure of Irish media, he has presented documentaries, current affairs, and election-results programmes, among them Today Tonight and Questions & Answers. John completed a PhD, De Valera and the Ulster Question: 1917-1973, which was published by OUP in 1982 and won the Ewart-Biggs Award.
