When a hippopotamus comes round to your house

What do you do when a hippopotamus comes to visit? Play splashy-sploshy games, of course, to make him happy. Share silly toys in a big warm bath, to make him laugh. Give him a great big crunchy salad-treat, as that’ s what a hippo likes to eat. And when he’ s ready to go home, do a little dance and say goodbye in style – because that’ s what makes a hippopotamus smile!

About the Authors
Sean Taylor is an award-winning author of over 50 books for young readers of many different ages. As well as writing, he has many years' experience visiting schools, where he works with poetry and storytelling to encourage young people to write themselves. Laurent Cardon's background is in film animation and he has worked in Japan, China, and Korea. The illustrator of Wolf Wanted, he lives in Sao Paulo.
