Synopsis
A synthesis and comparison of Gallo-Roman enclosure sites identified by aerial reconnaisance in Northern Brittany. Bastide summarises previous investigations in the region and aerial studies carried out since 1975, followed by a synthesis of the material, with a typology of the sites and an interpretation of the organisation of the landscape. Finally the sites from Brittany are compared to those of southern Britain.
