"Top Yacht Races of the World" is a beautifully photographed, upmarket title featuring the most celebrated yachting events around the globe. Twenty-two events - ranging from the technically challenging to the most physically demanding, including the extraordinary America's Cup and the Admiral's Cup, the great ocean and offshore classics, and the awesome round-the-world races - are recreated in all their drama. The book is divided into four sections - Offshore Classics, Ocean Classics, Round-the-World Races and Inshore Races - each covering several events. Stylish maps of the race routes, profiles of amazing feats achieved by memorable sailors and a compendium of the highlights of specific race years ensure that this book serves both as a factual record and visual showcase of the glamour and sheer physical challenge associated with this most demanding of sports.
