The links between the Templars and Scottish history and the hidden secrets of Rosslyn Chapel are outlined which embraces a detailed description of the Templar's discovery of America that happened one hundred years before Columbus. The author spent a considerable time in the Lanquedoc researching the intriguing mystery of Rennes le Chateau and how the descendant's of Mary Magdalene were integrated into the French nobility. Lateral thinking in a chapter on Alchemy puts forward a case that Saunière, the priest at Rennes le Chateau got his wealth from alchemy but the author presents a case that he may have been blackmailing the Church of Rome. The author presents a good thesis for the theory that there are hidden codes in the medieval paintings of Leonard de Vinci and Botticelli.
