Jiang Hui is Vice President, Member of the leading Party members' group of CASS, Director and Party Secretary of the Institute of Contemporary China Studies, President, Professor, and PhD Supervisor of the Institute of Marxist Studies. He also serves as Executive Director of the CASS-based Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Director of the Research Center for the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, and Deputy Director of the World Socialism Research Center. During the years, Jiang has won numerous eminent awards and titles, including "National Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions", Candidates for "National Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Project," Recipients of the "Special Allowances from the State Council," Leading Scholars in Philosophy and Social Sciences under the National "Ten Thousand Plan," a member of the Specialists Committee of the Marxist Theory Research and Construction Project of the Central Committee, a member of Discipline Appraisal Group of the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council and so on. Jiang Hui has long engaged himself in studies of Marxist theory, scientific socialism, international communist movements, as well as contemporary Marxism and socialism.
