Arnold Lowrey was a gifted artist and teacher, who shared his love of painting and considerable talents with his students for over three decades. He sadly passed away in 2025, but his body of work and his many popular books live on as a testament to his skill.

Wendy Jelbert is a teacher and award-winning professional artist who works in pastels, oils, acrylics, inks and watercolours. She is a member of the Society of Women Artists and the Society of Floral Painters, and has exhibited in many prestigious galleries throughout the UK. She has written over 40 books, has featured in 13 art DVDs and writes articles for Leisure Painter magazine. Wendy has taught for over 30 years at various locations, including WI Denman College near Oxford. Wendy lives in Hampshire, UK.
Geoff Kersey is an experienced watercolourist and is much in demand as a teacher and demonstrator. He lives and works in Derbyshire, where he has a studio, and he exhibits extensively. He has made many watercolour DVDs, contributes to various art publications and has written many best-selling watercolour books. Barry Herniman is a full-time artist who has been painting landscapes and seascapes for many years, both in the studio and en plein air. Like his paintings, Barry is full of colour and life, and his enthusiasm for sketching outside is contagious! He enjoys travelling, both at home and abroad, tutoring workshops and demonstrating to art clubs and societies, and has had exhibitions in England, Canada and the US. Barry is a regular contributor to The Artist magazine. He lives in Ross-on-Wye with his wife and five cats and is a self-taught mandolin player.
