Synopsis

A fantastic source or reference book for anyone seeking inspiration for Fantasy projects or ideas.
Brimming over with black and white line illustrations, this book offers craftspeople, textile and fine artists a host of ideas that can be used to create a wonderful range of decorative projects. Here you will discover witches, wizards, fairies, mermaids, unicorns, goblins, cherubs, and everything else in between! You do not need artistic skills, just photocopy or trace the motifs, pictures and patterns, then transfer them on to your project pieces. You will soon discover how easy it is to make unique designs for yourself, or friends and family.
The first section of the book offers a gallery of finished pieces which show how the illustrations can be used to make such projects as a dragon plaque, a party mask, a spooky spell book box, a goblin treasure chest and a beaded phoenix book cover. The techniques vary from painting and clay modelling to beading, parchment craft and metal embossing.
This book uses material from the Design Source Book series, Halloween Designs , Mythical Creatures and Christmas Designs by Elaine Hill, and Angel & Fairy Designs by Rebecca Balchin.
