Excellent book: most welcome! Provides clear analysis, discussion as to what, how and why students can explore the important link between understanding and using theory. This is an area many social work students struggle with as it is an 'abstract' area. The book dispels this, providing clear and concise info.The book provides a contextualisation of work within the children and families area. It is often very difficult for students to have the opportunity to receive a 'broad' overview of practice within the area. This book provides this.
