About the Author

Yann Arthus-Bertrand published Tendres tueurs, Bestiaux, Chiens and Chats with the Editions du Chêne. He is also the author of a number of books in the From above series, including Paris (bilingual edition), Les Côtes de Bretagne, La Loire and Les Iles de France. La Terre vue du ciel (The Earth from Above) was an international best-seller, first published by Editions de La Martinière.

Philippe Trétiack is an architcet, town planner, journalist and writer, a lead journalist for Elle Magazine and a regular contributor to ELLE Décoration. He is in charge of the architecture pages in art magazine Beaux-Arts.
