Trevor Dukinfield, a young journalist, suddenly received a letter informing him that he had inherited a golf course from his uncle. Then he heard about the two small snags, which accompanied his good fortune. His uncle's will stipulated that, in order to keep the course, Trevor must first play a round of golf in less than one hundred strokes - and then he had to find a partner to help him beat two bankers in a match play competition. But, apart from an hour on a crazy golf course, Trevor had never played golf before in his life!
