About the Author
Gordon Kerr worked in bookselling and publishing before becoming a full-time writer. He is the author of more than 40 books including A Short History of Europe, A Short History of Africa and A Short History of China (all published by Pocket Essentials). He divides his time between Hampshire and Southwest France.
