Countless modern adventurers set out each year, charting courses across the world's oceans to guide their boats, yachts and catamarans out on a journey of discovery, and safely back again. This book explains how they do it. It instructs the beginner in the art of navigation, discusses the available devices and how to use them. Whether you choose to plot a course by the stars, or travel in style surrounded by high-tech electronic gear, this book is an indispensable and up-to-date read for any present-day voyager.
