Ingerid Helsing Almaas trained at the Architectural Association School in London. After working as an architect in London, she now lives and works in Oslo. She has also written Vienna: a guide to recent architecture described by The Architects' Journal as 'that rare thing, a guidebook that is a pleasure to read from cover to cover'.
